The stadium was designed by Gensler and capitalizes on the natural landscape, the city’s cultural heritage and its tech-forward growth. It was strategically designed to accommodate a variety of community and spectator events and boasts open concourses to enjoy local vendors, unrivalled premium spaces and clubs, and a large roof canopy to amplify the crowd noise and shield all fans from rain or sun.
The stadium was also the first Major League Soccer (MLS) stadium to use Whole Building Life Cycle Analysis (WBLCA) to environmentally optimize its structure and enclosure and reduce embodied carbon.
