The Chase Center is an indoor arena located in the Mission Bay neighbourhood of San Francisco. It is home to the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and occasionally for the University of San Francisco men’s and women’s basketball teams in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The arena has a seating capacity of 18,064 for basketball games.

The Warriors ownership team entered into an agreement to purchase the property in Mission Bay in 2014 and spent two years participating in a public planning process to build the state-of-the-art sports and entertainment centre. The Warriors held a ground-breaking ceremony for Chase Center on January 17, 2017 and the arena opened on September 6, 2019. The first event at the Chase Center in San Francisco was a concert that featured Metallica and the SF Symphony. The Warriors had their first game at Chase Center on October 5th, 2019, when they hosted the Los Angeles Lakers.
