State Farm Stadium opened in 2006 as a multi-purpose stadium located in Glendale, Arizona, west of Phoenix. It is the home of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) and the annual Fiesta Bowl. State Farm Stadium has a seating capacity of 63,400, which can be expanded to 72,200. With standing room, the stadium can hold up to 78,600 people.

The State Farm Stadium was designed by New York architect Peter Eisenman in partnership with HOK Sports and Hunt Construction Group. It has a retractable roof that opens at lightning speed and is also one of the few stadiums in the world that features a retractable pitch.

The stadium opened in 2006 as Cardinals Stadium. Later that year in September, the University of Phoenix acquired naming rights, renaming it University of Phoenix Stadium, in what was initially a 20-year agreement. The current name was announced in September 2018 and comes from insurance company State Farm, which has an 18-year naming rights deal.

Arizona Cardinals Tickets

The Arizona Cardinals sell their tickets via Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster is the official ticket outlet for the NFL.

For most teams, Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of the team and resells tickets on behalf of ticket sellers. You can tell the difference on the site as the Blue dots are tickets from the team themselves, and the pink dots are from verified sellers.

Here are links to the main ticket resale sites. Click on the link, which will open up a new window, and you can compare the prices on the different ticket resell sites, bearing in mind that the prices shown may have further selling platform fees added, so take time to read my tips to Buying Tickets in North America.

I recommend downloading the team’s Mobile App to your phone as it contains much Gameday information for the stadium.
