Fiserv Forum is a multi-purpose arena located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is the home of the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Marquette Golden Eagles men’s basketball team of Marquette University. The arena opened on August 26th, 2018. The capacity varies depending on the event, for basketball games, it can seat 17,385 people.

Fiserv Forum was built to replace the BMO Harris Bradley Center, which was one of the oldest active NBA arenas by the end of the Milwaukee Bucks’ tenancy in 2018. Ground-breaking and construction of Fiserv Forum began on June 18th, 2016, and the arena received its certificate of occupancy on June 5th, 2018. The construction cost of Fiserv Forum was an estimated US$1.2 billion.

The capacity varies depending on the event, for basketball games, it can seat 17,385 people. For hockey and indoor football games, it can seat 15,178 people. For concerts, it can seat up to 18,000 people.

How to Get to Milwaukee

The nearest international airport to the Fiserv Forum is General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) which is located about 8 miles away from the stadium. Currently, there are no major airlines offering direct flights from any London airport to General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) but there are several options available that include a layover.

If you are already in the US and looking to travel to or from Milwaukee, then you have the choice of most US domestic airlines including Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, American Eagle, Frontier Airlines, Jet Blue, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airways and WestJet.

Public Transport

The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) has several high frequency bus routes that stop near the arena, including the GreenLine, 15, 18, 19, and 80. Local service routes 31, 33, 34, 57, and 81 also stop nearby. Additionally, The Hop streetcar has a future “M-Line” extension planned to serve the arena. You could also make use of free apps such as Moovit to get real-time timetables, maps, and directions to the stadium using public transportation.

Rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft are also available in the vicinity. Fiserv Forum has a designated rideshare pick up and drop off zone on Juneau Avenue.

Staying in Milwaukee

Downtown Milwaukee is the central business district of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is the economic and symbolic centre of the city and the Milwaukee metropolitan area. It is Milwaukee’s oldest district and home to many of the region’s cultural, financial, educational, and historical landmarks including Milwaukee City Hall, Fiserv Forum, and the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Beyond the Airbnb and Sonder options there are many hotels nearby to suit all budgets, which can be booked directly or via one of the hotel reservation booking sites. Some of the popular hotels include Saint Kate, Hyatt Place, Drury Plaza Hotel, and DoubleTree by Hilton.
