The Levi’s Stadium is an American football stadium located in Santa Clara, California. Construction started in April 2012 and since opening on July 17th, 2014, it has served as the home venue for the National Football League (NFL)’s San Francisco 49ers. Levi’s Stadium has hosted a variety of events in addition to football game and has a seating capacity of approximately 68,500.

In 2006, the 49ers proposed constructing a new stadium at Candlestick Point in San Francisco, the site of their former home, Candlestick Park. After negotiations with the city of San Francisco fell through, the 49ers focused their attention on a site adjacent to their training facility in Santa Clara. In June 2010, Santa Clara voters approved a measure authorizing the creation of the tax-exempt Santa Clara Stadium Authority to build and own the new football stadium and for the city to lease land to the authority. The stadium is named after Levi Strauss & Co., which purchased naming rights in 2013.

San Francisco 49ers Tickets

The San Francisco 49ers sell their tickets via Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster is the official ticket outlet for the NFL.

For most teams, Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of the team and resells tickets on behalf of ticket sellers. You can tell the difference on the site as the Blue dots are tickets from the team themselves, and the pink dots are from verified sellers.

Here are links to the main ticket resale sites. Click on the link, which will open up a new window, and you can compare the prices on the different ticket resell sites, bearing in mind that the prices shown may have further selling platform fees added, so take time to read my tips to Buying Tickets in North America.

I recommend downloading the team’s Mobile App to your phone as it contains much Gameday information for the stadium.
