The Frost Bank Center opened in November 2002 and is the premier entertainment venue in South Texas. It was built through the initiatives of a public-private venture among Bexar County, the Coliseum Advisory Board, the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo, and Spurs Sports & Entertainment.
It has previously been known as the SBC Center (2002-2006) and the AT&T Center (2006-2023).
In 2015, the Frost Bank Center underwent a renovation of $110+ million to enhance the fan experience. Renovations included new seating arena-wide, infrastructure and technology improvements.
The Frost Bank Center is operated by Spurs Sports & Entertainment. It offers diverse events to the San Antonio community thanks partly to its various seating capabilities, building configurations, curtaining system and technology upgrades.
