The stadium was originally known as CMGI Field before the naming rights were bought by Gillette after the “dot-com” bust. Although Gillette was acquired by Procter & Gamble in 2005, the stadium retains the Gillette name.

The nearest major airport to Gillette Stadium is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), which is about 31 miles away from the stadium. You can fly direct from London to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) with several airlines like American Airlines, Finnair, and Iberia.

If you’re already in the US you also have the option to use Theodore Francis Green Memorial State Airport (PVD), which is 34 miles from the stadium, and a wide choice of US domestic airlines including Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, American Eagle, Frontier Airlines, Jet Blue, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airways and WestJet.

Public transportation to Gillette Stadium is available via the MBTA Commuter Rail. Trains leave from South Station in Boston and Providence Station in Rhode Island and arrive at Foxboro Station, which is a short walk to Gillette Stadium. Round trip event tickets are approximately $20 and can be purchased in advance through the mTicket app or at ticket offices at South Station and Back Bay Station.

Beyond the Airbnb and Sonder options there are many hotels nearby to suit all budgets, which can be booked directly or via one of the hotel reservation booking sites.

If you’re looking for a place to stay near Gillette Stadium, there are several hotels that you might consider including Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn Foxborough Patriot Place, both of which are located just yards from Gillette Stadium. For more affordable places you could try Best Western Plus The Inn at Sharon/Foxboro and Home2 Suites by Hilton Walpole Foxboro. Both hotels are located within a few miles of Gillette Stadium.
