MetLife Stadium is an open-air multi-purpose stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The stadium opened on April 10th, 2010, replacing Giants Stadium and serves as the home for the New York Jets and New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). The maximum capacity of the MetLife Stadium is 82,500 seats making it one of the largest stadiums in the NFL.

Construction of MetLife Stadium began on September 5th, 2007, and it opened on April 10th, 2010. At an approximate cost of $1.6 billion, it was the most expensive stadium built in the United States at the time of its completion.

MetLife Stadium is one of only two NFL stadiums shared by two teams. Ten giant HD-ready light emitting diode (LED) pylons, located at the north, south, east, and west entrances, display videos of the team currently in-house. The stadium includes a total of four locker rooms: one each for the Giants and Jets, as well as two for visiting teams.

New York Jets Tickets

The New York Jets sell their tickets via Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster is the official ticket outlet for the NFL.

For most teams, Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of the team and resells tickets on behalf of ticket sellers. You can tell the difference on the site as the Blue dots are tickets from the team themselves, and the pink dots are from verified sellers.

Here are links to the main ticket resale sites. Click on the link, which will open up a new window, and you can compare the prices on the different ticket resell sites, bearing in mind that the prices shown may have further selling platform fees added, so take time to read my tips to Buying Tickets in North America.

I recommend downloading the team’s Mobile App to your phone as it contains much Gameday information for the stadium.
